I’ve completed several new albums, and they’re just waiting for me to finalize the artwork, upload the tracks, and do the final trimming. Here’s a brief overview:
- Ambient Collection 5: Over 20 tracks are already finished, featuring a range of rhythm-free styles from Optmay’s dark drones to deep, abstract crystal structures by SWHQ.
- 1300p: Around 18 tracks, intelligent drum and base and lots of ambient synth and pure western music harmony.
- Untitled Album: This one has about 6-8 tracks already on disk with a great minor direct sound reminiscent of Duke Nukem 3D tracks, but it still needs a name and visuals.
- A Range of 90 Vol. 3: A classic collection.
- Effekt: Featuring over 8 tracks.
- Golden Drops Beats: A collection of downtempo tracks
- Organwritings (5)
- SX512 (~10+ tracks)
- Optmay
- Avant-garde instrumental jazz “Janeiro”… (8+ tracks on disk)
I hope to find enough time in the coming weeks and months to release all of these. In the past, I didn’t have such a queue of unreleased material. For many years already, I’ve aimed for one album per month, – a balanced schedule to ensure better quality in artwork, mastering, and track selection. Despite this accumulation, the albums are completed and contain many good tracks.
Usually in past I had no such a queques in released. But for many years already I I aim at just one album per months, to gain better quality of artwork, mastering and balancing, as well as filtering out bad tracks. Still the mentioned albums actually are done, many good interesting tracks there.
I’m not a maniac, I only release quality material that is genuinely useful to me or my people. I As long as my music remains strong, I’ll continue working on it. However, if I encounter any months of uninspired or repetitive boring work, I’ll stop immediately. I have other important things to do, music is just an hour a day or even less. But only the highest in the music keeps me focused, music is an amazing phenomenon by itself, I just purely love it just as it is. I believe. But maintaining such activity on my levels is quite an expensive, and I prefer to avoid any illusions about it.
Personally, I’m excited to release Ambient Collection 5 first, which is scheduled for September 2024. I’m also looking forward to the annual “Massive” Optmay album for 2024, which is typically for my own relaxation and sleep. I need these releases.
Keep in touch – Zack
